When you verify your status as a qualified investor, we collect your email address, self-reported investor classification (e.g., institutional investor, accredited investor), and IP address. This information is used solely for compliance recordkeeping and to maintain your authenticated session on this website.

Contact Form

When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide (organization, title, message). This information is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry.

Email Subscriptions

If you subscribe to investor updates, we collect your email address for the purpose of sending periodic communications such as quarterly letters and investment commentary.

Cookies

We use browser cookies to maintain your authenticated investor session. These include an HttpOnly secure session cookie (not accessible to JavaScript), a client-readable session flag, and audit cookies storing your investor classification and email address for compliance purposes. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Compliance and Recordkeeping

As an SEC-registered investment adviser, we are required to maintain records of investor communications and gated-access verifications. Email address, investor classification, IP address, and timestamp are retained as part of our compliance program.

Communications

Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your specific inquiry. Subscription emails are used only to deliver the investor communications you requested. We do not use your contact information for unsolicited marketing.

Website Operation

Session cookies are used to allow verified investors to access gated materials without re-authenticating on every page visit. These cookies expire after 30 days.

No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Service Providers

We use Resend (resend.com) as our email delivery provider to transmit form submissions and investor notifications. Resend processes email data solely for delivery purposes and is subject to its own privacy policy. No other third-party data processors receive your personal information.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulatory order, or legal process, including disclosures required under SEC or FINRA rules.

Session Data

Browser cookies expire after 30 days of inactivity. Clearing your browser cookies will remove your authenticated session.

Compliance Records

Email addresses and investor classifications collected through the gate are retained for a minimum of five years in accordance with applicable SEC recordkeeping requirements (Rule 17a-4).

Contact Inquiries

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for reasonable follow-up purposes.

We implement reasonable technical safeguards including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, HttpOnly and Secure cookie flags, and HMAC-signed session tokens. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at investorrelations@lizardinvestors.com. Note that certain records may be subject to mandatory retention requirements under applicable law and cannot be deleted on request.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
